Husband’s Cooking

7 Oct

We had a chance to reverse roles when I was off teaching and the husband took the day off to recoup. While I was gone, the husband got to stay at home and take care of some household chores, as well as prepare supper for me when I got home (a task I do 90% of the time). Usually the task of cooking a meal isn’t daunting, but when you come home to a fridge of frozen meats and other frozen foods, the taste is a bit of a challenge. I really had no idea what to expect when I came home. However,  I have to (humbly) admit, the husband did do quite well. I usually don’t get the luxury of coming home and having supper ready, so it was a nice change of pace. I could get used to this…

Spicy Miso Drumsticks (spicy miso sauce from Trader Joe’s) and beef fried rice (organic peas & sweet corn also from Trader Joe’s)
